Hey all, not much going on really. Its been a real quiet year, but there is a new 4 way split out with Tanner Willow, Valentine, Eric Doucette and myself (Alex And The Imaginary Friends). Its available for free download over at www.the4waysplit.bandcamp.com We also did a 50 run CD-r release. They're screen printed and have a full color printed cover. Send $3-5 for one, there's only about 15 left.

We also decided to do a series of splits between the 4 of us. The next one will be the first of four more. We will release them on cassette tapes as the come along. When all of them are finished, we plan to release all of the songs on LP.

Also in the works is a new Alex And The Imaginary Friends full length. It is being recorded and I hope for it to be done in November. Expect an early 2011 release, not sure what format(s) yet though.

After The Fall is about to release their new full length thru Mightier Than Sword on CD/LP. There was talk of us putting out a cassette tape version. I'll keep y'all posted on that.

Mourning is still on a hiatus until Tim and I move to Baltimore and find a new bassist.

Botox Party has been broken up for a while. Still got CDs and 7inches, I'll sell both for $5. So just order a CD and I'll throw a 7" in there.

Alright, so I've neglected the website for a few months, but I'm here to announce some exciting stuff. My new band MOURNING is finaly playing a few shows and we've decided to make 100 TAPES to sell at said shows. We have them in now, though the official release date is March 3rd, we'll send em out right away. It is also available for digital download, which brings me to the next newest update to the site. I've made a new page called "Album Downloads" and it has a lot of our releases available for downloading with an optional donation, ranging from $3 - $20. Check it out! There should be more updates to come soon.

Whats new? Not too much here. We finally have AFTER THE FALL "FORT ORANGE" LPs on ORANGE VINYL available! Get them in the releases section. There is an updated list of other distro items of vinyl, cds and zines on the distro page. The new Fall Of Efrafa LP "Inle" above a bunch of other rad stuff. Be sure to check it out. As for me, I've been busy on tour, visiting friends, and just got home form Best Friends Day in Richmond, VA, which was a blast. I'm home now trying to relax for a few days. I started a new band called Mourning with Tim from Ambush and Jason from Defiant Hearts. Keep on the look out for recordings soon.

Hey everyone! Spring is almost here and rather than doing spring cleaning and getting rid of stuff, it seems like I'm filling up my room with more and more boxes of records! AFTER THE FALL'S new record FORT ORANGE is finally available for pre-order. The LP is coming out on Ass-Card Records, but I will be distro-ing it soon. In the mean time, to attempt in spring cleaning, we're having a couple package deals! You can get the new After The Fall CD and their split 7inch with Transitions for only $10. You can also get both alex and The Imaginary Friends and Project: Citizen's CDs and Zines and their split 7inch all for $10 as well. You can't pass that up! Alex And The Imaginary Friends will be touring the entire US this Spring with Project: Citizen. Botox Party is also touring the US this summer starting in June. After The Fall are planning to tour with End Of The Year in June as well as Europe in the end of the Summer. Keep an eye and ear out!

Happy new year everyone! Hope yours was as good as mine. We celebrated with fireworks and a root beer keg. We have a number of new things to tell you about!

Wow. I hadn't realized that its been 4 months since I last updated this. Project: Citizen and Alex And The Imaginary Friends are going on tour this November. In the mean time, both have new releases coming out in November and you can pre-order them both now! first is a split 7inch. 2 new songs from both bands and 1 cover of eachother's songs. Second is the new Alex And The Imaginary Friends full length CD/Zine. 12 Tracks, and lyrics/explanations to all the songs. Both are $5ppd. Get on that shit!

Hey there. I'm supposed to be on tour right now, but had some delays and had to cancel a couple shows because of a friend getting in trouble and then on top of that, our brakes dying. But Project: CITIZEN and myself will be headed to Richmond on Sunday to start our already failing journey.

Project: CITIZEN CDs are FINALLY being printed and sent on the way. We'll have them on the tour. Sorry about the wait. BOTOX PARTY's CD is recorded and being pressed as we speak. You can check out songs at www.myspace.com/botoxpartyva TRANSITION / AFTER THE FALL 7inches are also currently being pressed. Both of these releases should be out June 4th if all goes well. Thought it'd be a good time for a small update.

1. O Pioneers 7inches are finally in, and are being mailed out. 500 total were pressed, 300 black, 100 clear blue, 100 clear red.

2. I am waiting on Project: Citizen CDs and Zines still, but the mp3s have been available for free download in the releases section. Their tour dates w/ Alex and the Imaginary Friends can be found at www.mypace.com/alexssoloproject

3. After The Fall / Transitions split 7inch should be out in a month. 300 are being pressed on colored vinyl.

4. Botox Party's full length is recorded, and we will have the pleasure of releasing it this spring, most likely in May.

5. Eric Loeb! is planning on recordng a 2nd full length, due out this summer.

Hey there. I just got back from a mini tour I did as ALEX AND THE IMAGINARY FRIENDS. My split w/ WATERTOWERS is out now and you can order online. Thanks to everyone who came to the shows and helped set them up and gave me a place to sleep. It was an interesting week with interesting shows and I had a lot of fun and a lot of other stuff I can't even begin to explain. Anyways though, like I said the split is out and available, it is indeed pretty kick ass. Also, the O PIONEERS!!! / ANNOUNCEMENT split is still being delayed but should be here by the new year. For anyone who had pre-ordered it and has been waiting, I will be getting intouch about making up for the terribly long wait! Very sorry! Thats about all for now. Long time no updates! How is everyone? We've been taking quite the break over the summer from releasing anything. Not really by choice. Just kind of happened that way. But we're back with a bang! You can now pre-order O PIONEERS!!! and ANOUNCEMENT'S new split 7inch. It will be shipped to you as soon as we get our hands on it. (expecting to be end of October). Also be on the look out for a new record from yours truely. I will be re-recording some old songs along with some new ones as a full band called ALEX AND THE IMAGINARY FRIENDS. The new record should be out in November, followed with a short tour. Also you can expect a new album from our beloved Philly friends, CEASEFIRE, who are new to the Raise Your Fist community. A FISTFUL OF DYNAMITE's CD is out today everyone! Let me tell you, I'm really excited that they let me release this thing, its definitely gotta be my favorite release of 07 so far, though the year is early, I think it will stay in the top 10 by the time December rolls along. Also, HOME TO THESE EXPLOSIONS "...And We Travel On" EP is up for pre-order and it comes with a free poster! I'm very excited for my new band's first release and I hope everyone enjoys it. I guess this is it, no definite plans for the next release, but I'm thinking about a double disc compilation CD! One disc of electric bands and one of acoustic. Sweet! ALSO! NEW distro items by Mischief Brew, Ghost Town Trio and more!

Hey there. Some updates: Eric Loeb! cd is here, if you order it now, we'll send it over right away. Also, A Fistful Of Dynamite's cd is up to pre-order, we'll send it out as soon as they get here. The release date is set for April 20th. If you havnt noticed, take a look at the releases and distro sections, I added a paypal shopping cart so you can now order our releases using paypal or your parents credit card. hah. I still preffer and enjoy getting cash wrapped in letters with nice notes written on them in the mail though. Also, Home To These Explosions have started to record our EP which should be out May 3rd and The Knockdown are heading into the studio later this month to start recording their first full length which is expected out sometime this summer, I'm thinking August. Happy new year every one! Hope everyone had a fun new years. We have a few new things to announce. As you know, The Knockdown EP is out now and you should really order it, because it will kick your ass. The PSOMBS//Costeaus release was delayed but the CDs are on the way and any orders will be sent out as soon as they arrive. Eric Loeb! has recorded his 18 song full length and his CD will be out February 2nd (tracklist and artwork will be posted soon!). And last but not least, we will be releasing a full length CD for A Fistful Of Dynamite which should be out by April. Huge news! Many of you probably know already, Danger To The System is calling it quits and ending it with one last show on October 13th at the Raise Your Fist House. This will be the same show as the Alex's Solo Project CD release. DTTS is also releasing a new EP titled "Is There Any Hope?". This is a very low budget release and will be available for free/donation. Not many copies will be printed, but it will be posted online to download for free after their show. Wow, I can't believe its September already! Where did the summer go?! Wow. Anyways, thanks for all of you who have picked up the compilation CD. My (Alex) CD will be out on October 13th. I've got most of it recorded and the mixing and mastering will start very soon. Mike is going to be recording soon as well though he has decided to just release it at a low budget as possible and self release it. Hello everyone. Lots of NEWS!!! 1.The comps are all here and we finished packaging them yesterday, it doesn't officially come out til Friday but you can order them ofcourse. 2. The Hearts & Grenades full length CD "Coffee House Catastrophe" is officially out of print, but its also now available to download for free. Go to the catalog and right click and "save as" where it says mp3. Enjoy! 3. I uploaded a different version of "I Aint Got No Home (Woody Guthrie cover)" that Duane and I (Alex) recorded just for fun. Its on the Media page. Check it out! 4. Amish Electric Chair cancelled the tour with DTTS, so the live split will not be recorded and obviously will not be released. Weather or not Danger To The System will be recording and releasing a live CD them selves is up in the air, but I don't think it is going to happen t this point. Hello, it has been a very very very long time since I've looked at this site, not to mention update it. I'll try and be more consistant on making updates, its just nothing has really been going on the RYF the last couple of months other than ideas. Here is where that is going to change, the Raise Your Fist Vol. 1 compilation will be out early August! 26 songs from 26 bands for $3! Also coming this fall and winter will be, new solo cds from myslef (Alex) and one form Mike as well along with 2 DTTS splits!!! One split will be new studio material with The Knockdown (www.myspace.com/theknockdown) which we plan on going into the studio in October. The other split will be live songs from various shows from the upcoming DTTS/AEC tour. So check out The Knockdown and Amish Electric Chair! The Danger to the System full length CD will be out April 13th, the day we leave for tour. So everyone in Syracuse, Brooklyn, Albany, Rochester, Cleveland, Pittsburgh, Richmond and Lancaster, watch out, we're coming your way with our CD. Also, we're doing one last basement show before we leave on April 8th here in the Raise Your Fist House. A couple bands on tour from Virginia willbe playing as well and you might be able to pick up a copy of our full length there (before the actual release date!) so yeah, come out and have a good time and make us feel good before we leave!
